Another Computer Course at Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna Ends Successfully

The second computer course for year 2018 on behalf of Soldiers serving within the Security Force - Jaffna area, was held at its Headquarters premises from 15th October to 10th November 2018. This computer course was conducted by Orient Lanka Academy with the aim of improving the computer literacy of the Soldiers of the Jaffna Peninsula. 40 Soldiers representing the under command battalions took part in this course where S/Q110887 Private Jayarathne KGCL of the 9th Battalion of Sri Lanka National Guard secured the First Place in order of merit while S/165272 Gunner De Silva DSS of the 4th Artillery Regiment and S/2079630 Recruit Athapattu AMPB of the 4th Mechanized Infantry Regiment were awarded the Second and Third Places accordingly.

Brigadier General Staff of Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna Brigadier Raska Karunathilaka distributed the certificates at the closing ceremony held at its Headquarter Premises on 10th November 2018.
