The Head of the Security Section at the Embassy of Japan paid a courtesy call on the Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna

As a part of the reconciliation process and to uplift the living standards of Civil Community in Jaffna, the Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna decreed to recruit 50 unemployed youth, both male and female, to employ in the Army Farm at Palaly.

Addressing the newly enrolled personnel including some rehabilitated ex-LTTE members at the auditorium of the Security Force Headquarters - Jaffna on 15 February 2018, the Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna, Major General Dharshana Hettiarachchi emphasized that the Sri Lanka Army is fully committed to implement the reconciliation process to ensure the lasting peace in Sri Lanka.
