in Jaffna on 14 June 2017 at the auditorium of Headquarters Security
was organized by 4 Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps on the direction
of Major General Darshana Hettiarachchi, Commander Security Force
(Jaffna) with the aim of educating military personnel on 'Sexually
Transmitted Diseases' and AIDS.

HIV Rapid Blood Tests also were conducted for all the participants
with the support of Dr. Tharini Gurukaran MOIC and staff members
of Venereal Disease Unit, Teaching Hospital, Jaffna at the end
of the day's programme. More than 300 Army personnel participated
in this awareness programme.
