Sri Lanka Army Female Soldiers Further Lent their Assistance to Lift Source of Revenue of Rehabilitated Female Ex-LTTE Members

Another sessions of Socio Economic Welfare Coordinating Workshops for rehabilitated female EX-LTTE members was held on 8th Feb 2017 at Thenmaradchi Kalai Mantram Cultural Hall, Chawakachcheri.

With the initiative of the Headquarters Security Force (Jaffna) - HQ SF (J), women soldiers of Sri Lanka Army 7th Battalion (7 SLAWC) organized a gracious meeting with female Ex-LTTE members and distributed packets of Milk powder to 18 families who have children below age 5. This is the continuing proses of the 7 SLAWC to establishing reliance with the society.

Army Women soldiers are sensible for rehabilitated female Ex-LTTE members and their children at all the time. Constantly lent their assistance to such a poor family'swhile quizzing them and reconnoitered their progress of livelihood.

Major Pradeepika Wanasinghe, 2nd In Command 7 SLAWC, few other lady Officers and female soldiers participated in the event..........................
