Warmth of Alliance Once Again Touches the Hearts of Jaffna Students

School items and stationeries were donated to needy children in Point-Pedro area by the Headquarters Security Force Jaffna HQ SF (J) under the community welfare project of the Civil Military Coordination (CIMIC).

With sheer intention of quenching the thirst for education in Jaffna students, members of Sri Lanka Nippon Educational and Cultural Centre in collaboration with the financial assistance of well-wishers from Japan, donated school items and scholarship for 30 needy students on 08th Feb 2017 at Sri Naga Viharaya, Jaffna.

Hon. Thero Meegahatenne Chandrasiri, Secretary Sri Lanka Nippon Educational and Cultural Centre, Buddhist, Hindu and Catholic priests, Lieutenant Colonel Amendra Mendis, Civil Affairs Officer HQ SF (J), military Officers, soldiers, school teachers and students participated in the event.
