Sri Lanka Army Female Soldiers Celebrate the 69th Independence Day with Thelippalei Cancer Hospital Patients

With the direction of the Major General Mahesh Senanayaka, Commander Security Force (Jaffna) - SF (J), women soldiers of Sri Lanka Army 7th Battalion (7 SLAWC) made a visit to the Thelippalei Cancer Hospital to see the house patients who are undergoing treatments on 4th Feb 2017.

Further, women soldiers of Sri Lanka Army offered gift items to 26 patients each worth of Rs. 2,500.00. A calypso played by women soldiers was arranged to entertain them. During the visit Major Geetha Rankothge, Commanding Officer 7 SLAWC, Officers and women soldiers have interacted with them and exchanged their views and ideas.
