Sri Lanka Army Female Soldiers Visits Rehabilitated Ex-LTTE Female Members

With the initiative of Headquarters Security Force Jaffna - HQ SF (J), women soldiers of Sri Lanka Army 7th Battalion (7 SLAWC) made a visit to neighboring villages; Mallakam and Mirisuwil to see Ex-LTTE female members and celebrated 31st birthday of one member on 29th January 2017.

Meantime, women soldiers of Sri Lanka Army donated empty tins to another member in order to uplift their self-employment. This programme was organized by the 7 SLAWC with the sheer intention of establishing faith and mutual understanding the matters related to their family lives, livelihood and their requirements.

During the visit Major Geetha Rankothge, Commanding Officer 7 SLAWC, Officers and women soldiers have interacted with them and exchanged their views.
