Security Force Jaffna Continues to Eradicate Dengue in Jaffna peninsula

Security Force (Jaffna) with the coordination of more than 1000 Army soldiers and Officers of 51, 52 and 55 Divisions continuously extend their support to the Dengue Eradication Programme at 143 rural schools in Jaffna Peninsula. The programmes were held on 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd January 2017 and it will be continued.

All the rural Schools in Jaffna, Nallur, Thenmaradchi, Vadamaradchi East, Vadamaradchi North, Vadamaradchi South-West, Valikamam East, Valikamam North, Valikamam South and Valikamam South-West Divisional Secretariats have been covered during this weekend’s cleaning campaign with the support of the students, teachers and the general public.

Following directions given by Major General Mahesh Senanayaka, Commander Security Force Jaffna, Officers and soldiers in the area joined hands together with civilians for this mammoth campaign with purpose of eradicating Dengue threat.
